We cannot expect businesses to locate in California when we have the nation's highest taxes, toughest regulatory environment, and oldest business and commerce infrastructure.
I'll work to audit California's regulatory and tax structures and determine where we can make immediate improvements to our state's economic competitiveness. I'll also fight to suspend all pending job-killing mandates, such as the huge AB32 gas tax hike that the California Air Resources Board is expected to levy in 2015.
I believe every policy, every regulation and every tax move must be weighed against how they impact jobs and the economic well-being of California families. My goal is a pro-jobs, pro-taxpayer, fiscally conservative California.
